There's a lot of development, but nobody is building affordable housing. When I say affordable, I mean around half a million.PiggyBankBlueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06690849714922488666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2608523444133676064.post-34827031258170083152007-09-20T15:59:00.000-04:002007-09-20T15:59:00.000-04:00I think the New York and DC markets are similar, b...I think the New York and DC markets are similar, but DC is probably a little more vulnerable to falling prices. People keep telling me that when an administration changes, the DC market changes with it because so many people move into the city. Interesting stuff.<BR/>Do you think that the condo market is flooded in NYC? People talk about that a lot in DC.Ms. M&Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00956851778885437199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2608523444133676064.post-52587661368711620142007-09-20T11:58:00.000-04:002007-09-20T11:58:00.000-04:00Yeah, but our burst isn't like other bursts, or at...Yeah, but our burst isn't like other bursts, or at least that's what I think. Our burst is more about dampening the pie in the sky selling prices. I think in the end it just shrinks the profit margin for the seller, but since the margins in the city are so consistently high, it's not like a seller is losing money. Unless, of course, they're flipping properties, and who in their right mind would do that unless they have a lot of dough.PiggyBankBlueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06690849714922488666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2608523444133676064.post-20070158187676865882007-09-20T11:41:00.000-04:002007-09-20T11:41:00.000-04:00Haven't they been saying the NY housing market bub...Haven't they been saying the NY housing market bubble will burst for like 10 years? I've been hearing this ever since I moved to NY.Hraghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02777822271789999167noreply@blogger.com
